No. of Videos - 26 and counting
Amdocs is a multinational company with over 31000 employees around the world, and employs a large financial and payroll team to keep employee payroll on track. While everything ticks around like clockwork, the sheer scale of their employee base generates innumerable queries - ranging from basic paycheck doubts to complex taxation and benefits queries.
The Amdocs India finance team realized that answering every employee query manually was taking up too much time and resulting in low employee engagement and satisfaction. Therefore, they turned to video as a solution.
The idea was to create videos that answered Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) around topics identified by the Amdocs finance team. The initial requirement was for 6 instructional videos that would take a comprehensive educational approach to resolving employee queries, with no compromise on the engagement factor.
For Dialogbox, the challenge was threefold-fold:
The Studio Dialogbox team entered this engagement with a methodical approach. A dedicated team was set up including a Creative Director and an Account Manager.
Collaborating with the Amdocs finance team, Dialogbox comprehensively understood the brief for every video, digging deeper to understand the technical aspects of the payroll process.
Simultaneously, the art direction team studied current design trends to come up with the right visual approach and style that would marry instructional content to rich visual aesthetics.
A weekly call was set up to apprise the client about project progress and to discuss any bottlenecks or roadblocks in production.
This call also served the purpose of feedback collection and on-the-fly reviews, paving the way for shorter feedback cycles and faster approvals.
A linear production relay comprising script, style frames, illustrations, animation, and final video delivery was set up, where the sketched storyboard stage was skipped in favor of full color illustrations.
This resulted in the successful completion of the first set of 6 videos, while also establishing an understanding of working methodologies on either side of the engagement. The videos were met with complete satisfaction and much appreciation.
And there was no looking back from there. The Amdocs Cyprus team approached Studio Dialogbox with a larger requirement for 10 videos.
A retainership engagement was formalized that offered a continuous stream of work to Studio Dialogbox, and helped Amdocs derive maximum value from their investment.
Studio Dialogbox has supported Amdocs in all their video requirements, completing more than 26 video projects till date.
The visual aesthetics of every video campaign have incrementally improved, by roping in a different set of visualizers and an art director.
The Dialogbox approach to making the videos look modern and fresh has received positive feedback from the Amdocs team, who is very happy with it.
Client Points of Contact (PoCs) have changed with time and because of working with different teams across geographies. And yet, the transition has been smooth with no dip in quality, TAT, or service. The rigorous effort taken at the beginning of the project has paid and will keep paying dividends, as this relationship with Amdocs continues.
The process of video quality and style improvement is a continuous one, and the Studio Dialogbox team is dedicated to providing the best video production experience to Amdocs. This mutually beneficial retainership arrangement is perfect for B2B enterprises that require a video pipeline to supplement their marketing or internal content strategies. For Amdocs and Studio Dialogbox, this is the very definition of a win-win situation.
For B2B companies of any scale, video plays an important role in their marketing strategies. Having a steady video pipeline is essential for multiple teams.
Entering into a retainer agreement with a good video production studio has multiple advantages:
